We decided that celebrating our 30th birthdays this year called for our first annual girls weekend! (I told you this was turning out to be the best birthday ever!) Thanks to Becky getting us organized,we all met up for a weekend at Lake Lure, North Carolina. It was so much fun to hang out again all together. We are all spread out now from Detriot, Washington D.C, Houston, Ft. Myers, and of course Fort Worth. I love my girls and am so thankful for the lifelong friends I have. As we get older, I think I realize how unique our little group really is. It never matters where we are or how much time has passed, it always feels like we simply pick up where we left off. Love ya, girls! You made the blog! :)

One hotel on the lake was the one used for parts of Dirty Dancing. Of course we had to check it out and pretend we were Baby learning to dance.
We had a great dinner out right on the lake.
We also celebrated Heidi's little girl, Samantha due to arrive late June. We surprised Heidi with a little shower. We can't wait to meet Samantha! Heidi- you look so cute!

Heidi (aka ?), you are such a freak! You really ARE small for someone having a baby in less than a month- HELLO! Anyway, the weekend was amazing and all the pics you guys have are awesome- I wish I had brought my camera!!! I want everyone who was not there to know that it rained the entire time, it never got warmer than about 65 during the day and we could not get a pedicure to save our lives BUT... we did not even notice and had a totally fabulous time because we had each other. What a great trip- thanks for the nod on the blog Angie!
