Swimming Lessons

Isaac is in the second week of his first swimming lessons. He is trying to be brave and really is doing well except not wanting to practice being let go under water to kick up. He is trying everything else and hanging in there!

Yea Isaac!! That is him underwater after jumping to his teacher Jordan!
Then jumping to his teacher, Alex...:)
...he showed off his backfloat for the camera! Spencer is being a trooper watching Isaac with me. We usually swim afterwards or have somewhere fun to go. Good job, too, Spence!

Dude, I'm dreading the swimming lessons. Isaac is doing super compared to Bryce. Bryce won't even get in the water far enough to go under! Maybe Isaac can teach Bryce swimming later this summer. :)

That picture of Spencer is too cute, too!

I am proud of him. He really is afraid of being let go..which is probably the skill I most wanted him to learn in case he falls in sometime. Anyway, he is doing pretty much everything else so I am happy. The first week he cried and cried. I dreaded this week but it is going so much better. I bet the more we swim all summer the better both boys will get! -Angie

Just remember, he is only 3 years old. He is doing great. Keep it fun. All of you hated the lessons, but it is well worth it.

Can't wait until I'm back to help.

Wow Angie, way to go with the swim lessons! We enrolled Colson last year but it really was too early. Maybe we will watch your progress a while and try again! I am especially proud of little Spence being a good boy during the whole thing! They are too cute!

Let's be honest...the day I ended up bringing my camera seemed to be his only really cooperative day. The others were filled with crying and bargaining with his teachers to not be put under water and have to kick up! He hung in there and was soooo upset when they ended. j/k He is was looking for rain every morning!
