We had the most wonderful two weeks in Colorado. My dad brought my nephew, Ian, along for one of the weeks. We did it all...seriously, I think we did it all! Since we were staying for two weeks instead of just one, we did not have to pre-plan everything which made for one of our best vacations. The boys were great the whole time...even for the 14 hour drive! I have posted a lot of pictures....and these just give you a glimpse at what we did!
(Even Isaac got too hot and had to head home early.)
At the hotel on our way home....
We really had the best time. We are so thankful to have a beautiful condo to go to and to be able to take our boys to do so much. I was dreading the drive and the boys were SOOOO good the whole time. They proved us wrong!
Thanks for coming Grandpa and Ian.
Thanks Rose for playing with us....
We cannot wait for next summer!
P.S. I did not take pictures but should mention a little drama....At the grocery store I did not buckle Spencer in and he was riding in the basket. I got distracted and pulled backwards a little and he fell right out on his head! He got checked out and was fine, but lesson learned...buckle those babies up! AND....Isaac wanted some drama, too, so one day playing in Breckenridge, he fell down on the playground and got so worked up crying he passed out! Scared us to death...he did that when he was a baby up there, too. Anyway, he was fine. What is a trip without a little drama, right! Thank goodness both incidences ended up being minor and we still had a great time!

Wow, so I'm a first-time commenter and the first for this entry. Loved the pic of Spencer celebrating his golf shot. Only one problem, where is the picture of GREG getting a pedicure?

Actually, while I was getting one...he was at the marina having a beer. Seriously. Sorry, Scott.:)
Those are great. I love the last one of those cuties sleeping. We use to always go to the Aquarium restaurant in Houston (Kemah) when we lived there. We're so going with y'all next year!
Looks like you all had a great time! I can't believe how big the boys are getting! Miss see you!
Those pictures are great! Ian had so much fun. I am sure it will be a trip he remembers forever. He truly loves his buddies Isaac and Spencer and still hasn't stopped telling us stories about them. Thanks for letting him go and play with you and for taking such great care of him! We missed him but it was worth it!

These are such great pictures! I love seeing your boys(as I have never seen them in person). I hope to change that next summer!
Much fun to be had in Colorado--with Rosie!
Take care.
Long lost Eileen in NY
Looks like such a great trip! It is so incredibly beautiful there! Your family is so cute! Melissa :)
Wow... it looks like you guys had a fantastic vacation! Sorry to hear about the "drama" but I really am glad that Spencer and Isaac are both ok. It would've scared the life out of me too! I'm glad y'all had a great time, and now that you're back, just know that Matthew's waiting for us to go swimming together! :)
Side note: I took the kids to San Antonio for a little "weekend vacation" (all this momma can afford this year). It doesn't come close to what y'all did on your vacation, but the kids did have a blast running all over Sea World...and I have blisters on my toes to prove it! lol
Rockin pictures! Hopefully we'll be able to join you next year! Amo
Looks like you guys had a BLAST!!! We can not wait to go....10 days and counting!!!-Les
