Pumpkin Painting!

We went to the pumpkin patch, rode down the giant slide, skinned Spencer's knees, and headed home to paint our pumpkins!
Isaac's happy face pumpkin....
Isaac's scary face pumpkin....
(and his version of a scary face...I think he was having too much fun to be scary...)
Spencer painted and painted and painted and painted some more.....
Of course Grandpa was creative....this was his first of many more Halloween pumpkin painting nights with us!
Grandma was much happier this year with her "lady pumpkin" . Now she is a pro!
Grandpa had to use a hair dryer in between color changes...are you sure this is your first time??????
Grandpa's finished product complete with wind blown hair.....or hair dryer blown.

Our pumpkin family!
(Notice Grandma also made a scary face side...which she preferred.
What does that mean????) Mine is the sweet mama pumpkin.
We are ready for Halloween!

On a side note....as we have fun painting pumpkins, I can't help but think about a family...a friend of a friend type of thing...that needs everyone's prayers. Their 10 month old baby is fighting leukemia. You can read their story at www.ethanpowell.com.
Say a few prayers for this family so they can live carefree the way I so thankfully do.
