First T-Ball Practice!

"Hi Mom! Come stand over there with the other mom's so you can see me better!"

Isaac standing on third base practicing waiting for the other kid to hit the ball to run.

Coach Greg had a great first practice. The kids were all having a great time and not running all over like I thought they would be. All the parents helped out, kids were cheering each other on. It was so fun. They learned where the bases were and how to hit and throw a ball. I can't wait to see a real game! They will be on Saturdays at 8:30 starting the last weekend in March. Isaac just had to wear his new baseball pants, even to practice in. In fact, he wouldn't take them off all day! He insisted on putting on his gloves to hit the ball. At the end, I asked him to give me his cleats so I could clean the mud off them and he refused saying the real ball players shoes are dirty and his needed to be dirty, too. He is so cute and funny. When we asked him if he was going to be able to mind his Daddy as the coach his reply was:
"If you tell me to sit, I will sit.
If you tell me to run, I will run.
If you tell me to hit a home run, I will hit a home run!"
Go Isaac and the Rangers!
(I wonder who picked that name, Coach???)
