Whew!

Well, moving day arrived last weekend! Our wonderful friends, Scott and Tammie, and John Costa that works with Greg did the unthinkable and OFFERED to help us out. (Yes, Tammie, we will help you when you move, too!)

All gung ho and ready to get to work!

And after....John already had to go and missed the "after" shot.
What amazing friends we have! We cannot thank them enough!

Greg gets the "I told you so" because they got just about our whole house into this storage! This was the way to go. A huge truck brought it Friday and lowered it into the driveway, we filled it up Saturday, and it was picked up Monday morning. All we have to do is call 2 days before we want it and they will bring it to us! We had ordered two containers and staggered the delivery just in case we didn't need two. I voted, with Tammie, to get them both for Saturday and just get done. Greg won out to try- and he won! We had to get a small not-climate controlled...aka cheap....storage for our garage stuff and a few other misc. things. Yea!

So..now our house can build with no stress as we CLOSED on Thursday! The deal is done and we are moved into Donna and Gerald's. Now we can sit back and enjoy our build! (and yes, everyone near me can too!) They should pour the foundation this week. They guess for us to be done October/November.
I hope Donna and Gerald are ready for some busy, noisy, months!
With the closing of our house, the boys received their "Children's Listing" closing. Our realtor offers kids a contract that states they will help keep the house clean and make their beds when asked and get FIFTY dollars at closing! So, their checks came in the mail today and we headed to Toys R Us to celebrate their hard work! Greg and I really were proud of them for cleaning all the time before we went anywhere. They were troopers and deserved this shopping spree! We helped Spencer pick out this things he always asks for. Isaac on the other hand wanted his money to stretch far and refused to buy anything to pricey so he could get "lots and lots of toys".
Thanks, Mr. Bill!

Wow! I cannot believe you guys fit so much into that storage space! I bet you all were TIRED after you were done!

Isaac is such a smart little boy! Not many kids his age would actually take into consideration how much they can get for their money! I'm sure the boys are loving their hard earned "bonus"

What wonderful friends you have! Tough jobs like that go so much easier when you have friends to laugh and joke with while you are working. It's very cool that the boys got money for their efforts in selling the house. It helps them to be part of the process. I love that Isaac wanted to buy the most for his money, what a little smartie he is!
