Serious Updating...

We have been sooo busy lately- but having so much fun I decided I better share some of the highlights from the last few months.

T-Ball has kept us very busy the last month or so and we LOVED every second of it. Isaac LOVES playing and actually turned out to be pretty good at it. He was not the kid playing in the dirt. He was so serious and focused every second. It was awesome!

Isaac had a great time...especially with having Daddy as his coach. Anytime we were at the fields or at practice Spencer always called Greg "Coach Greg" instead of Daddy. It was so cute. Spencer was a great fan and I had fun spending more "alone" time with him. His turn is just around the corner.....:)
Go Cardinals!

We have been tackling some house projects....

We had a new patio put in with planters....and finally filled them with landscaping.
(I promise it is there!)

...planted two new trees.

We found some time for a Ranger game...

The boys were SO fun to take- they both watched every single pitch and detail of the game. Isaac really has picked up the ins and outs of baseball from t-ball.

Just a little light reading before bed one night..... I saw him head up with the paper and this is what I found. So funny.

Spencer sang in church. It was hard to get a good picture. I spared you from the video of him standing there not really even singing. He can sing it out in the car though! :)

And then we tackled the biggest project ever.....a new swingset.

Day One...a very HOT Day One I might add......

Two and a half days later...and I mean working 8 to 8 each day.
...Even in the rain.

Thank you soooo much to my dad, Greg's dad, Scott, and Mike for all your hard work helping us!
We owe you HUGE!

And ....our new shutters got installed!
...the living room

AND a newly painted kitchen with new shutters!
I LOVE THEM!

You will not believe this but our little man is heading off to Kindergarten next year. And yes I am soo sad about it. Even being a Kindergarten teacher- I join all the mom's I have made fun of over the past 9 years. I don't want my baby to grow up. And I mean that with every tiny part of me. We create such independent little people through kindergarten and I am sad we have reached that point.
His AMAZING daycare had a achievement ceremony tonight.

And yes I am going to put all his cute little songs for you to see.

It was so well done. I am constantly amazed at the dedication of his teachers...really all of his teachers. He has been there since he was two!
They really motivate me to do better for my own students.
The program was "We Are the World" and they performed dances from various countries. Isaac was in the African group.

The first song was "Celebration".
(This one is short!)

Okay- the videos are taking FOREVER to post so I might have to try again a new way.
I will try again later.

Enjoying the "party" after the program.
Isaac with one of his best buds, Lanie. She joined the development center this year. They have been close since they were born- just a few weeks apart! It is just crazy they are old enough to be in kindergarten.
Isaac and his amazing teachers, Ms. Salena and Ms. Sherry.
Great job, Isaac!

This was one of Isaac's songs he sand at his program. It is so sweet I made him sing it again for my camera.

And Spencer wanted to share is little song, too!

We are not even done yet.....
After a t-ball picnic tomorrow, my kindergarten class picnic Monday, and end of school next week-
We are OFF TO DISNEY WORLD!

First...love the shutters, planters and OF COURSE, the swingset. Well done!! What fun they are going to have!
Second...the bedtime reading picture reminds me of the one of you (or Amo) as a kid with the book on your face after falling asleep reading.
Third...tears were/are in my eyes reading your getting ready for kindergarten. We did our K Orientation last night and I am so proud and sad at the same time. I love the baby pic/big kid of Isaac and Lanie. I am proud of your "man".
Fourth...We need Disney to hurry up and get here. We can't wait to play, play, play with you. See you in 13 days!

Your pictures are great. I am so hppy to be able to see them in person. The shutters are gorgeous and so easy to open/close. The swingset was quite a job and it was so very hot. The boys should enjoy it for many years to come. Don't forget to visit us in Mansfield. That house is so beautiful and full of fun things, I can see you staying home. Isaac was so fun at the ball park. I was so touched that he ran across the field, through the dug out and out of the fence to give me a hug and thank me coming to his game. And..the graduation "celebration" was wonderful. You did such a great job expressing your feelings. It is true. The time has come for Isaac to take the next step in life..school.

Thanks for sharing. Grandma Baker

I was beginning to think you left blogging! I love the new house stuff and can't wait to bring Hanky to play with his "buddy." We will have to get them on the same team in t-ball...wouldn't that be a blast?
