Showing off his new school clothes from Grandma and Grandpa. They came and took Isaac for a special starting school lunch and shopping trip.

Yes. It is true. It really happened. Isaac started kindergarten this week. Yes, after all these years making fun of weepy moms, I was one of them. I have to admit it. BUT I did keep it mostly to the night before packing all his little lunch box and backpack up. My sweet team refrained from asking me about it so that helped me in the morning. Greg took him and of course I was distracted by 19 other kindergarteners and their weepy moms. (Whom I did not make fun of one time. )

Isaac and Spencer waiting for the bell to ring to head down to Isaac's class.

The night before he was so cute and so excited. He even combed his hair to the side..which he usually doesn't like...saying "I want to be cute for my teacher."
He did get a little nervous, waking up several times with "bad dreams". But did great in the morning. Ran right into my bathroom shouting "I can't believe today is kindergarten!".

He told me he made Daddy take a picture of his back to show off his backpack!

Getting all settled in...

Isaac with his new teacher....Mrs. Roberts! I am so lucky to get to bring Isaac to a great teacher and a great kindergarten team that I have worked with forever and love them all to pieces.
I wouldn't trust my little man to any other girls.
Thanks for the great start, Mrs. Roberts!

What beautiful memories. It is hard to believe Isaac started kindergarten. He'll do great. Let the fun begin. We're so happy to be a little part of it.
