Merry Christmas!

Our Christmas Eve started out with some SNOW!

My cute boys right before we headed off to Grandmommy's for lunch
already dressed for church later.

This is how it looked when we got back from Grandmommy's house getting ready to head out to church! Can you believe this is Texas?

Reading the Night Before Christmas with Grandma before heading off to bed.

Isaac reading to Spencer before bed....Grandma, Isaac, and Spencer all slept in Spencer's room! Grandma said Isaac kept getting up and looking out the window "just checking" for Santa several times. Finally, he believed her when she said he will not come while he is still awake....so he finally fell asleep...but not for long......

At 4:10...yes, I said 4:10, Isaac flung my lights on stating "He came...come on!" and before we could even try to muster a not yet....the boys were already checking out some of their new goodies from Santa. A new scooter "with two wheels" for Isaac and new golf clubs for Spencer!

The boys opened everything and loved it all. Spencer kept saying "I always wished for that!" . What a sweetie!
We were excited it was our turn to get to have Grandma and Grandpa spend the night and be at our house for the Christmas excitement. They happily got up at 4- not even really that early for these two!

Greg with the most random gift I think I have ever purchased...a composter. Just what everyone always asks for! :)

A very excited boy....Isaac has been politely asking for a Nintendo DS for almost a year now. We have told him over and over not yet. He never pouted, whined, or anything each time we said he could not get it. He put it on his letter to Santa and we told him we had already told Santa no. He still was polite about it. This was just too expensive of a toy for a six year old we thought. He wrote about it at school. We would still remind him the answer was no. As time went on, we thought about what good boy he has been. Not one color change all of kindergarten, really always doing what we ask, playing nicely with Spencer, getting better at not going first...:) His birthday doesn't come until November. Greg came home one day with the beloved DS to reward our good boy for all his great behavior.
He was thrilled!

This is what time we FINISHED opening gifts!

Time to play- first out was a new Star Wars play hut!

Spencer finally fell back asleep around 10.

We headed to Grandmommy's for brunch around 11:30. We had to let the ice melt away before we could head out. Tons of fun gifts and breakfast/lunch later...home for playing in the snow and waiting for Amy and Allen to come over for dinner for MORE gift exchanging!

A little sing-a-long time with Grandma and Grandpa.

Yesterday, the boys spent the day playing with all their new toys while I spent the day cleaning and redoing rooms and the playroom to find a place for all our new toys!
Time to try out Spencer's new clubs!
They look so cute with their sets.
Isaac trying out his new golf net! He had gotten too good to be allowed to practice in the backyard. Now I don't have to tell him no anymore!

Isaac got a new football/baseball throwing net.

Spence has had a blast playing with a new giant remote control dinosaur, new wii game, and a big star wars ship!
These boys have had a great Christmas full of new toys!

Happy Birthday , Jesus!
(Isaac's picture he made last week in church!)

Finally, today the boys made a snowman- with a little help from Daddy.
We still have some leftover snow! :)

Coming soon.....Jackson's finished room
and a weekend at the Great Wolf Lodge! We can't wait!
